?Hanauma Bay: Eastern Honolulu, the area that surrounds Makapu Point, is full of beautiful beaches and the most beautiful of them is called Hanauma Bay. Now this is such a special place to visit because it is located in the crater of an extinct volcano, open to the sea and full of coral reef. It can not be a good place for swimming or surfing however it is beyond doubt a wonderful place for sunbathing or picnic. The scenery here is eye-catching.

?Halona Beach Cove: It is not far away from Hanauma bay, and better referred as a peering place. It is a rocky cove and is very calm. Swimming here could be dangerous, just ensure that there are lifeguards around.

There are two popular ways of traveling in Honolulu and the island Oahu. People either take buses or go for taxi. Although the bus fare is less than that of taxi, it can be time consuming.
